Girls Camp 2009

I absolutely love girls camp. It takes so much planning and stress and work but it is all worth it. The best part about this year is that Karli got to come with us and although she kept her distance from her "Mama", I enjoyed watching her have fun with her friends. It only hurt my feelings a little. I am so grateful for the girls in our ward. They are so kind to one another and try to help whenever they can. We enjoyed every one of the girls this year. I would have taken them all home with me if their families would let me. At least I got to bring mine home with me and she's a keeper!

Spring Happenings

I'm sorry bloggers! Since I found facebook I have been very bad at blogging. I'll give you a snippet of what's been happening in the Myers family for the past few months.

Landon enjoyed a very successful season of freshman baseball and starts summer ball soon. He is ranked #1 academically in his class of 450 and received a top Math award this week. Karli has been playing softball with Brian as the coach and loves every minute of it. Hayleigh turned eight and as you can see from the pictures, she was very excited to turn 8. She will be baptized June 6th.

We are so busy with church, work and kids we can hardly breathe. I wouldn't change it for the world. I am very blessed to have such a fabulous family.

The Groll Siblings

OK this was last Christmas, but since it's the only picture we have with all 5 of us since we were in grade school I had to post it. I am so grateful to have a family that loves one another and loves to be together. I am so proud of my brother and sisters and love them so much for the people that they are.

Skiing In Utah

It is tradition for us to go skiing during Christmas break. The kids make sure we go, (with a lot of support from Dad.) I go up kicking and sceaming almost every year and always have a fabulous time. Mostly because I'm out of shape and it hurts so much more than when I was young. My favorite part is watching Landon, Karli and Hayliegh enjoy themselves. I especially like watching Brian ski. He is so amazing at a lot of things but skiing tops the list. I would have to say this is one our favorite family activities!

Snow Glorious Snow!

The weather has been so nice this year. It hasn't felt like Christmas or winter. We finally got a little snow yesterday. Hayleigh had the flu but she begged and begged to go out and play in the snow. We get so little that I didn't have the heart to tell her no. Brian caught this tender moment as she built her mini snowman.

Duct tape fun

It was duct tape day at the school and Hayleigh took full advantage. Landon and Karli dressed Hayleigh up for the occasion. She was dressed head to foot in the stuff. She had jewelry, socks, hair bows ,clothes and even a purse made of duct tape. You could see the heads turning as she walked down the hall!
